We’re a small design agency working for some big juicy clients, we’ve been going for 4 years now and have 10+ years of industry experience behind us. We have a fun studio environment that makes work seem like play, and with this work hard play hard ethos everyone knows when to knuckle down and get the work done. We love design and we love business just as much, this shared passion allows us to give our highly diverse client base great creative solutions to help them hit real business goals.
We had a cracking year last year, and are working very hard to make this one even better - which is why we're on the look out for another talented designer. We don’t have “account directors” so everyone meets the clients from the designers to the developers and the contractor builders. We’re lucky enough to produce design that goes out all over the world selling products like cupcakes, educational courses, valves, pies and welding rods to name but a few – so no day in the studio is ever the same!
You:
You need to be passionate and excited by design and how it can help companies grow. You need to be able to demonstrate excellent skills in Brand, Logo, Brochure, Stationery, Direct Mail, Packaging, Advertising and Front End Website design. An interest in Exhibition / Work Space design and Motion Graphics is a plus.
You will be working across a wide range of design materials for a diverse and prosperous client base. You need to be able to clearly articulate your ideas and concepts with passion, to both the team and to clients directly. You need to be educated to degree level in Graphic Design or similar and have spectacular technical skills in Adobe Creative Suite. If you’ve got a real passion for design then this is a great opportunity to work alongside a very successful creative team on international projects.
You don’t need to be able to draw perfect portraits, but you should be able to scribble enough to articulate an idea to someone. Mac literate is a must, an absolute whizz with Adobe Creative Suite (just how many short cuts do you know?!) and some basic motion graphics or coding skills would be great.
We're passionate about helping you grow so personal training and development goes without saying, we'll chat through what you want to get better at and establish a training plan.
As well as all those usual skills – we want a creative that’s open to learning more about how design is applied in a commercial world. Clients are not with us to change the design world, we’re here to help them tell their brand’s story and increase their turnover. You must have the ability to passionately articulate your ideas to us, and the clients. And you should be as nerdy as possible about anything and everything you love, whether that’s 1930’s typography, rare sneaker collecting or vintage bikes – we want you to be passionate!
This is a great time to get involved with us, you’ll have the opportunity to learn a lot and maybe get that first taste of working in the commercial world, all that we ask in return is a hard working, passionate designer who’s keen to get their hands dirty producing work that will be seen all over the world and learn about how real clients, and real projects roll out.
